Rhonda

Graduating with an accounting degree from UTM in the late ‘80’s, my 20+ years in purchasing has given me the opportunity to spend someone else’s money. A few of the interesting things I have purchased over the years are metal, corrugated wood and glass. None of that compares to what I get to purchase these days, using mine and Jeff’s money, filling our two boutiques with fashionable clothing and accessories.

I love to help women look and feel beautiful. When Jeff suggested I open my own boutique, he agreed he would be my financial backer. The Corner boutique was the first boutique in West TN to offer plus-size clothing and young girls boutique clothing. We changed the definition of boutique. We were the first to have a large store. We were the first to be affordable. Along with a friendly hello and smile we always have a sale and we offer a free lip gloss to all who visit. We even have a free-gift-with-purchase. Today, we continue to work hard to offer fashionable clothing at a great price, allowing mothers to find outfits they like and that they can afford for all the ladies in their family.

We have been blessed through this business and we love to give back to Milan and Gibson County. Helping and supporting those who support us, is what it is all about. From local animal rescues, the local school and community activities to Runway for a Cure, you will see and hear The Corner boutique. The best is when we eat out and pick up someone else's ticket. They never know, but their smile stays with us forever.
